Ohio Connecting to Collections & Ohio Preservation Council (OPC) Workshop

Workshop Description: The Ohio Connecting to Collections partners, in collaboration with the Ohio Preservation Council (OPC) are pleased to announce an additional session of the popular workshop. A Question of Balance: Collection Environment Basics: How to Maintain Your Collection and What to Do if Something Goes Wrong. The workshop covers basic collections care, environmental control and emergency response.  The morning session, a lecture format, will focus on environmental controls and monitoring. The afternoon portion is a hands-on session conducted by OPC. The session will focus on immediate response to minor water disasters, wet book and artifact recovery with minimal intervention, and resources for the next level of recovery.

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (registration begins at 9:15 a.m.)
Cost: Workshop is free, lunch is on your own
